Free Agency Begins, Jets Resign FB Richardson
The free agency period began at midnight and the Jets locked up one of their own, FB Tony Richardson. T-Rich is considered to be an excellent run blocker and was instrumental in helping Thomas Jones gain 1,312 yards this past season.
One player that wasn’t on the Jets radar is Albert Haynesworth. He received a 7 year 100 million dollar deal from the Washington Redskins. Daniel Synder never fails to disappoint. The Redskins also resigned CB DeAngelo Hall to a 6 year 54 million dollar deal.
Who is on the Jets radar?
Massive Pittsburgh Steelers Guard Chris Kemoeatu (6’3″ 344lbs). He would provide a cheaper alternative to recently released Brandon Moore.
