NY Jets Sign Vladimir Ducasse

According to NJ.com, the New York Jets have signed their 2nd round draft pick Vladimir Ducasse.  Ducasse was the 61st overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft.  He is expected to start at left guard after the recent departure of Alan Faneca.  Having him signed for the start of camp is important.

Ducasse signed a four-year deal with the Jets worth $3.25 million, including a signing bonus just over $1 million, according to a person with direct knowledge of the terms of the contract.

The Jets now have 3 of their 4 draft picks under contract:  Vladimir Ducasse, Joe McKnight and John Conner.  The only pick that remains unsigned is 1st round selection Kyle Wilson.  Players report to camp on August 1st, so there is plenty of time to get that deal done.
