Put Up or Shut Up Time For The New York Jets

Game day has finally arrived after a long week of trash talking and anticipation.   The New York Jets take on the New England Patriots at 4:30 pm today, with the winner heading off to Pittsburgh to take on the Steelers in the AFC Championship game.

There are many ways to look at this game but in reality it is truly put up or shut up time for the New York Jets.  There is no need to look back at the highs and lows of the season as none of that matters now.  There is no need to dwell on the could haves and should haves.  The game is there for the taking and now it is time for the Jets to man up and show the world what they are made of.  There is no margin for error, and no room for excuses.  For sixty minutes on Sunday the New York Jets have a chance to prove themselves on one of the biggest stages that they have ever been on.

Initially I predicted that the Jets would come up short on Sunday, but my stance has since changed.  I believe that Gang Green is going to turn this into a very physical game and that backyard brawl style will be effective against the Patriots.  In the end I believe the Jets are going to put up a very impressive winning performance and shut up all of the doubters and critics out there.

The time is now Jets, lets get it done!
