Jets Release WR Michael Campbell from Practice Squad

The New York Jets have released WR Michael Campbell from the practice squad. The announcement was made by General Manager Mike Tannenbaum.

Campbell (WR/6-2/205/Temple/Edison, NJ), was re-signed to the practice squad (10/12/11) following his release from the practice squad (10/5/11).  He initially signed with the Jets as an undrafted free agent (07/27/11) and spent the preseason with the club, registering two receptions. Campbell played in 43 career games (19 starts) at Temple, totaling 1,253 yards and 83 receptions. As a senior, he led the team with 724 receiving yards on 45 receptions.
