Santonio Restructures Contract Saves $3.5 Million On Cap

Adam Schefter is reporting that Santonio has reworked his contract.  There was a report this morning from The Jets Blog saying that Santonio Holmes had turned down a request earlier this off season to restructure.

We will have more details as they emerge.  Until that time, here is a discussion thread on Santonio Holmes.

UPDATE: According to reports Holmes’ 2013 salary decreased $3.5 million from $11 million to $7.5 million:

While Holmes restructure saves money this year it is being reported that both Holmes and Cromartie did not take a pay cut simple moved money around in their contracts:
