NY Jets Sign Safety Brandon Hardin To A Reserve/Future Contract

by Henry Quintero on January 15, 2014

Today the New York Jets signed Safety Brandon Hardin to a reserves/future contract. Hardin was originally drafted by the Chicago Bears with 16th pick in the third round of the 2012 draft.

Hardin updated his twitter account today to let Jets fans know it was official:

Hardin was drafted despite suffering a shoulder injury and missing out his entire 2011 college football season at Oregon State. The Hawaii native is listed as 6’3″ 217 lbs and played some time at the cornerback position in college.

Hardin has a reputation of being a very physical player on defense but has been held back on playing time due to injuries he has suffered since being drafted. We will keep you updated on any future roster changes as news breaks.
