Report: Jets Hosting Free Agent Tackle Will Beatty

Mike Garafolo of the NFL network is reporting that the Jets hosted free agent left tackle Will Beatty.

Former Giants OT Will Beatty is working out for the Jets today, source says. Name to watch for teams with tackle needs in the near future.

An eight-year veteran with 63 career starts, Beatty has played in just six games over the past two seasons after missing all of 2015 with a pectoral injury according to profootballrumors.com.

With a couple of question marks at left tackle in Kelvin Beachum and Ben Ijalana, the Jets could do a lot worse in adding depth at left tackle than they would in adding a player like Beatty.
