Love college bball...this has definately been one of the best tourneys that I can remember.

that was a wonderful game. i wonder if the final four and championship can live up to the elite 8. WOW!!!

Congrats to "Meat-Chicken" State. =D> They beat my Kentucky Wildcats straight up. Those "Bluegrass Boys" will be back in the touney as usual next year, only stronger! :box:

Why should they have lost to Nova??

While I agree that the travelling call was major BS, even if they don't call it, they are still down 1 and it's UNC ball. AND even if they call a foul, the kid has to hit the free throw just to TIE the game, and it's UNC ball. They either score at the buzzer or game goes to OT.


Again, I agree that Nova got hosed on a CHANCE to send the game to OT, but UNC still would have been in position to win the game anyway.

I don't think there are too many brackets out there that aren't trashed. With all the upsets we saw (Wake, Kansas, Syracuse, etc) most people did not stand a chance. The problem in picking brackets is that once you make 1 mistake, it follows you throughout the rest of the tournament.

Obviously, this is going to start an arguement. To even preface a statement like that, you want to start an arguement.

As to how they're overrated... it speaks more to their weak conference than anything else. Sure, they have all that talent, but have they won anything? They've been annointed champions before they even stepped foot on the floor. They haven't won anything. They didn't even win the ACC. So yeah, they're overrated.

And, as for the dude above this quote, who's to say UNC even scores again? Yeah, there's that little quirk. And Nova's defense isn't paper or anything.

So UNC hasn't won anything? How about the ACC regular season title...I guess that doesn't mean anything. They went undefeated at home, and their 2 acc regular season losses came on the road to very good Wake Forest and Duke teams.
Whatever happens in the Final Four, nobody can discount the fact that getting there is a great achievement. There are so many good teams this year and we have seen so many great games, the path to the Final Four is not an easy one.

Shoot, I can... espeically when you're a One seed. You're supposed to make it. And hell, you played a 'weak' Wisconsin team... actually, they did suck. And Nova was without their best player.

But, look at the bright side, the curse of Roy is still around.

Oh, and there's no way in hell y'all are going to win the National Title. You're not going to run three Big Ten teams, especially the best team in the nation. That and Louisville is better. And regular season titles mean absolute nothing. When was the last time anyone took pride in winning a regular season title, but just missed out on winning anything for real?

But, who am I? My team's Michigan... but at least I've got football to b!tch about in the future.

I can't figure out why you have decided to come out swinging on this one. I simply asked you to tell me why Carolina was overrated. You have given me a few things here and there but with nothing but attitude and sarcasm. You obviously wanted the argument, well now you've got one buddy.
But while reading your post, I have figured out why you are so bitter.
Being a Michigan fan, it must hurt knowing you pretty much lost a national title in 93 because one of your star players couldn't remember how many timeouts the team had.
