And as someone referenced to it before, when the Red Sox are hanging their April, May and June AL East Championship Banners...the Yankees will win it over them for the real AL East Championship Banner in early October and he will disapear until the Yankees get knocked out of the playoffs (if they do) and then after a week or two will disapear until 2007.

It's very easy to be a Red Sox/Jets fan. I grew up on Long Island and absolutely hated the Yankees and their fans. You'd think that this would push me towards being a Mets fan, but this was the early 80's, and there has never been more bandwagon fans. Ever. I didn't want to be a part of that. My best friends grandfather used to pitch for the Sox, and he was a fan, so I started to follow them. I guess I did kind of bandwagon after all.

As for the Jets, I always liked them, but became a huge fan when a friend of mine made the team.
