I just found out that Rob Zombie and Anthrax are going to be down the road from me. That would be a show to check out.

nice! im a huge mike meyers fan but resurrection was the worst movie i think ive ever seen. i couldnt even get into the theatre cuz i was too young so we got this guy to buy us tickets and then we got kicked out cuz they were checking them at the door. we got our money back and went to another theatre in a different town.. and all for nothing becasue the movie blew. i like rob zombie so this one should be pretty damn good

i am a big fan of the 1st movie, but had no idea zombie has already finished filming the movie. will he tell a great story, or ruin a cult classic with gratuitous blood & gore.

Is he making a remake of the original? I would hope not. The original is my favorite Horror movie of all time. House of 1,000 corpses was a decent flick....but The Devil's Rejects was the biggest POS ever. The 2nd worst movie I've even seen in the theature(Black Christmas).

If it's a remake he will ruin it.

I bought "The Devil's Rejects" today for 9 bucks. I couldn't pass that up. Now I look forward to this Halloween film he is doing. If he can get this right then Rob Zombie goes up next to Quentin Tarantino as one of my favorite film directors.

Why the hell would you make a Halloween movie and not release it in late october? I dont understand that one at all (for those who dont know, it premieres Aug. 31st).

Maybe the DVD will be out by October 31st? No way right, too quick of a turnaround?

Assuming the movie is complete..They can be working on the DVD now..before the release to have it out in time for Halloween.

At first I thought it was going to be a prequal, but it seems like a gory remake to me.

Why bother? the first two were great the way they were, no need to remake them. Jamie Lee Curtis was great in those movies.

Not 100% sure. Looks like a little of both. But let's face it. The Original Halloween was my favorite Horror film of all time. It is a masterpiece. Nothing will ever compare for me. I am looking forward to seeing Rob Zombie's spin on it. He makes some creepy stuff and the mix of him and the Halloween franchise has me psyched.

I honestly don't know. I'm not a huge fan of horror or gore movies. I like things that make me think. Whichever movie it was, a friend of mine decided to bring it over one night and it sucked. I mean, its not like i hate gore movies, i just don't usually pick them out, but the movie wasn't even entertaining. Just a variety of ways to kill someone, how fun to watch.
