Anyone want to say the Mets won't be around come August, now? You know this team is pretty good when a West Coast road trip doesn't faze them. Omar Minaya deserves a key to the city if they keep this up.

What Yanks have done so far is actually more impressive than Mets with the injury bug they have had. Having said that Omar has put together a great team that is playing the way I expected. Lets see them keep it up,,, Latinlawyer 06-12-2006, 11:24 AM I am a Mets fan, but WAY TOO EARLY!!!!!! As I see it now Mets and Yanks will both be VERY close as far as victories. Dont trade milledge...he is the real deal.. Jetsfan80 06-12-2006, 05:15 PM Teams that start hot tend to finish up hot, especially when it has the resources to make moves to improve the team down the stretch. Remember, the White Sox started out 16-4 last season, and didn't finish too badly. That's the trend for nearly every World Series winner. You don't finish strong if you didn't start strong. Jetsfan80 06-13-2006, 06:19 PM A win tonight, and it falls to 92. Time for Glavine to continue his move towards 300 tonight against the Phillies. |
