Told me to stop by and the rest is history.

So I did a search and found this place. And when I checked out the forum, I found a bunch of people who loves football and the jets, and can take a joke and some trash talking without banning people left and right. So I stayed.:cheers:

I was on JI and saw the the back and forth nonsense between Max(man) TS, GGG and Sooth. I also noticed that a lot of good posters were disappearing for some reason. Somebody (can't remember who) cleverly mentioned that everyone was over here so I came to check it out. Like the houseguest that never leaves, I'm still here.

My computer crashed, and apparently, while I was saving up for a new one, I missed all the fun. When I got back online, I noticed that Max, Smizz and Tom Shane weren't posting at JI anymore. I started a thread asking what happened to those guys, which was quickly deleted.

Luckily, someone (I won't mention who, he's still a big part of JI) pm'd me that they were all at www.retardworld.com (funnier than ********.***). I was going to reply, "what the hell are you talking about?", but noticed jetnation.com in the quoted section. Haha, suckers.

I wasn't PMed, or thought it was spam and deleted it. Noticed references to it on JI, and that most of the better posters didn't seem to be on JI as much. And didn't want to waste $55 for recycled Ny Post columns about the wonders of Herman Edwards.

This site has definitely grown in the last year. One thing that I think makes this site better than JI and other sites is that it's a lot more personable, and it's easier to get to know all the guys and girls on this board as opposed to JI. I think there's a core group of about 30-40 posters here that post regularly, so it's a lot easier to go to know everyone than at JI, where half the people there I don't even recognize. Not that more people shouldn't post here, because they should. SIGN UP DAMNIT!


We should enjoy the site while we can until Max sells out to the man and charges us $55 for special Rich Cimini chats and "VIP status". ;-) :grin:

That is true. We were hanging on the Tobin board. It wasn't until DK started posting as Limo over there that things got bad. Nice people over there, I think they just felt we took over the place. We did have a lot of people there in a short period of time. We were homeless.

To be clear, I'm still a member at JI (as far as I know) and I have friends over there. I just like this place better. I'm also a member at Matt's Greenhouse, nyjetsfan.com and the Tobin board. I waste enough time here, though, so I don't waste time on the others, as well.

I was in that small window of time that I found this place and saw some familiar names like Shane, Max, Smizzy...Looking back, I wonder if finding this place was a good thing? :rolleyes:
