Yes I'm still alive.


My road trip to NYC has been scheduled for October 22nd fittingly against the Detroit Lions. I will be making the trip with 4 fellow police officers who are Lions fans. As of now I will be looking for 5 or 6 tickets to the game. Sitting together would be preferred but with that many I know it's unrealiztic and 2 groups of 3 would work as well.

Also I gladly accept your input as to where to stay. Our current plan is to fly into LaGuardia on Friday, hit the city Friday & Saturday, tailgate and hit the game Sunday and fly home Monday. I would prefer to stay either in the city or a short Subway/PATH trip away from it. I usually stay with my Aunt/Uncle in Lawrenceville so finding a hotel is new for me.

Stay in NYC near Times Sq/Midtown. The NJ Transit bus from Port Authority gets you to Gnats Stadium in just under 20 minutes starting 2hrs pregame. There's another bus, I think the 164 that leaves earlier for tailgating purposes. I'll do some research on that and get back to you.
