VILLANOVA!

Why? Well I'll tell you why.

So far this season the Wildcats who came into last nights game at #24, oh and by the way yes they did defeat the #3 Boston College Eagles, had already won 3 games agaisnt the Top 25, and now 4. Kansas, Pitt, BC and West Virginia have all fallen to these soon to be Final 4 Wildcats.

With a starting lineup that features 5 guys who were all together last season as well, Nova is well on their way to the Final 4.

With the shooting of Junior Allan Ray from deep and the low post prescense of Junior Curtis Sumpter this Wildcats team is poised for a championship run.

I will go out on 2 limbs today and say not only will Nova go to the Final 4 but they will win the Big East tourny.

If those guards are hitting their shots, they can beat anybdy. But those dudes are so streaky that if they're not hitting they can lose by 40 on any given night.

As a PC grad Ill be rooting for Nova!! Always want the best for my fellow BBall BE schools. They need Nardi back, how long is he out for?

But watch out for teh Friars in the BE tourney, we've now won TWO WHOLE BE games!!

I agree Nova has come on, and they should beaten BC the last time up there. That said, I think BC is a fraud and have been very lucky. I'd be surprised to see them in the sweet 16. I'm also not sold on Illini. Don't expect them to go TOO far, but if they make the dance, Providence could be an even darker horse.

BC is such a FRAUD! They have played NOBODY and have 1 decent win away from Conti. They win close games and Skinner maybe the best coach in College right now, but they just arent that good. Well coached and everyone knows and sticks to their roles. I wouldnt be suprised if some state school comes calling for him this summer and give him a huge contract!

I'd love to get Craig Smith for a TE, though. DAMN that dude is huge on the block.

I am not a big BC fan, and only follow them when they're winning. Boston is not a big college sports town. Yes, I'm a bandwagon fan when it comes to BC.

I agree that they are frauds and they're overrated big time. Their one big win on the road was against UCONN and their non-conference schedule was a joke. I'm banking on them being ousted early in the tourney.

I must say though, it has been one of the most exciting seasons that BC basketball has had in some time. I'll give them that. I have to admit that I didn't even start paying attention to them until they got their top 10 ranking.

They will get destroyed in the ACC next year, and many more thereafter.

They're very impressive. I think they'll do damage in the tourney. I won't say they're going to the Final 4 or anything, but I think they are a team that no one wants to play.

Disagree with the ACC next year part P4E. The ACC as a conference is a FRAUD too! They are top heavy but perenieal bottom feeders in the BE VT and Miami are I believe tied for 4th in the confeence. They acc is so overhyped its ridiculos. Duke looked like crap against SJU the other day. Mark my words, the BE will have more teams in the sweet 15, elite 8 and final 4 this year, and Ill throw BC in as a ACC team!!

When it comes to football, they will lose to VT and Miami on an annual basis. That will basically ensure them of going nowhere when it comes to big time Bowl Games.

Whoa, what is the difference between Duke, Wake, UNC and Maryland and Uconn, Cuse, Pitt, ND, Nova. Plus the BE 2nd tier teams are SO MUCH better thean the ACC: PC, SHU, SJU(they will be back in a big way, probably become a national power again in a few years)?

I Agree, GG. UConn has really started to ramp up over the past two months. Calhoun has these guys believing in each other. Marcus Williams is a completely different player than he was at the start of the season. This team could make a big run in the tourney, - Final Four?

Connecticut is a a team that other teams in the tourney will not want to play. Big East will have BC, Syracuse, Connecticut, Villanova, Pittsburgh and Notre Dame I think in NCAA's.
West Virginia just missing out especially after losing yesterday to Seton Hall.

UConn? They won't even get to the Elite 8 GG, sorry.
