Reuniting with my stepbrother after 18 years.

So like i said in the last thread I have reunited with my stepbrother who I haven't seen since I was about 11 years old. We've hung out quite a bit lately and I've even gone to see his band play once already. They were really awesome. When he was over my house once we got to jamming together on our acoustic guitars and really played well together. He is a fantastic guitarist, but I can definately hold my own with him. Anyway, long story short, he wants to start another band on the side since a couple of his band mates don't really want to play out more than about once a month. He is looking to get out about once a week, maybe even more sometimes. He has asked ME to join him in his new band. I have been playing guitar for about 12 years now, and it has been about 9 years since I have ever played on a stage. I was psyched as hell to do this and have been practicing my ass off to get back to the playing level I was at a few years back. I'm getting there pretty quickly.

At any rate, how *****ing cool is it that I meet up with a brother that I haven't seen in years and am getting to live a dream of mine playing out live. Even more awesome when it's your brother on the other end of the stage with you! We sghould be ready to play our first show by mid to end of September. I can't wait!!

What I am really interested in is the update on the VIP area, and when the ballots are going to be cast. Isn't it time?

We're more of a jamband genre if you had to classify it. We're influenced by some God Street Wine, The Dead, Phish, String Cheese Incident, Moe., Disco Biscuits, etc....

I'll definately take those lyrics. That's really funny because Max wrote a song for me titled "it only hurts for a minute". He sang it to me the last time we went camping.

No that was another time. It really creeped me out when he made me wear the alter boy outfit.
