Two guys who can probably be had for next to nothing that the Yankees should target in a waiver deal if they were to lose ground to the Sox. These are two guys who I would have liked to see the Yankees go after because of their potential asking price, and their history against the Sox.

Affeldt IMO would be a nice replacement for Mike Myers who was brougt in to get David Ortiz out but hasn't proven he can do it. Affeldt owns Ortiz and Fossum has had very good success against the Sox.

With the Jays apparently having thrown in the towel (I wish that would have happened pre-deadline) I'd like to see an effort made to get Ted Lilly in here but I'm not sure Toronto would do that.
