In 1930 Hack Wilson hit 56 home runs and belted in an MLB-all time record of 191 RBI for the Cubbies (not to mention a nifty.356 batting average).

76 years later, Ryan Howard passes him with his 57th home run of the year.

no other player who wasn't pumped full of steroids has hit more in a single season in the NL

congrats to Ryan Howard

I asked this before when someone else said the same thing about Howard? How do we know he is not roided up? He hits 2 HRs in 19 games during his first big league stint. Then follows that up with a 19 HRs in 88 games. SO entering this season, he uses his 107 games of major league experience to boost his total to 57 in 146 games? :jawdrop:

A performance from 2 to 22 to 57 is not suspicious?

All you Jeter and A-Rod ball washers like to throw Big Papi under the bus for his gradual climb from 10 to 19 to 31 to 40+. What about Howard? Unlike Papi, he is cut.

Yeah, he is clean.
:lies:
