I would say that I have all the room to talk on that subject because, pirate fans have been forced into being good losers over the last 14 years. And the Pirates just had a charity gold tourney 2 days ago, I wish it was on tv, it might have been a good watch.

Wins are wins when they matter. Not when your down 9.5 games with the magic number down to 4 in the middle of september.

I know it's going to be hard to sit at home tugging on your pubes while you watch the Yankees in the postseason. If those games were critical, you wouldn't have seen some of those players in our lineup, nor would you see some of the pitching changes that were made. If you recall Moose came out of the game exactly when he hit 99 pitches. He wasn't out of gas at all. Torre had him in there on a strict pitch count, and looking ahead to the playoffs. Go cry on your Yankees suck T-shirts and enjoy your 3 games you won. I don't think they give a banner for that , nor a ring either. Might as well forget about baseball this year because it will be over for you very soon, while we win the AL East AGAIN. BTW. That is your opinion. The FACTS are YOUR team choked and coughed up the lead they had . Then going into a critical series, at YOUR stadium, they choked away 5 games in a row. That is not an opinion, that is a FACT. One more FACT is that your team won't have a chance to make a first round exit, or even be seen in the playoffs. Don't concern yourself with what the Yankees will or will not do in post season. Your team is a miserable mess. Your GM isn't god. I know that's hard for you to accept.

Let's see, the Yankees won, what, 26 World Series Titles? The games are 4-game series, so that's 26 X 4, which equals 104. That means we have won at least 104 VERY meaningful playoff games.

Now to the Red Sox side of things. You have won 6 World Series, so I'm going with the 4-wins for the series... that's 6 X 4 (much easier math, thankfully) which equals 24. I think ours might be a little higher. :)
