Anibal Sanchez (FLA): 102.1 IP, 2.90 ERA, 1.15 WHIP, 8-3 record, 65 K

Which blind Yankee homer could the Baseball forum have done without this year?

Blackout: Knows his baseball, but doesn't let that get in the way of his homerism.

CMart28Coles87: Not sure he qualifies as a poster.

GJ&H: A front-running bandwagon poster, only around during the good times. Used up his mulligans on his Al Leiter man-crush.

Did you notice they are ripping it up in the NL?

Florida is 74-76, San Diego is 78-71, Boston is 81-69.

And you know what? The farm system is still rich.

Don't concern yourself about the state of Boston's prospects. Those guys wouldn't have placed us in the playoffs.

And the sad part of it is they have a better chance at the playoffs than the Sox, which is truly pathetic. Someone has to balance the play of the AL and NL, because the AL is always owning the NL :(

Go Yankees!

You answered your own question. Apart from the Mets the NL has been terrible.

Anibal Sanchez could be the real deal, might not. Jose Jiminez pitched a no-hitter in his rookie year too if I remember right. They sure could have used him with the year he's had. And they definitely have to regret losing Hanley Ramirez. With the year he's had, people wouldn't be putting them down as much for the letting Damon go. Crisp hasn't been half the leadoff man that Ramirez has been this season. So without question, I'd say it would be Hanley Ramirez. But that whole trade in general has to be regretted.

I'm just trying to spark some baseball conversation, don't take it so personal, sheesh

Give these poor sapps alittle break. Their beloved pathetic sawx are the 3rd worst team in the division and are headed for more misery in the coming seasons.

Good points. Truth is the Sox could have used a starter and setup man also.

Little to late for this issue. Have Theo work his magic again, like your owner Lucky Lucciano says he has. He Lucky was a scheister in SD, and you are now stuck with him in beantown.
