Hey Sox....I know you guys gave up on the season weeks ago, but the least you could have done is taken at least one from the Twinkies. You have one more chance to redeem yourselves tonight, but given the fact you're going up against Santana and couldn't hit water if you fell out of a boat, we won't hold our breath in Detroit.

How about you win your division, then talk ****.

LOL. Its better for you if the Tigers are forced to win a few games going into the playoffs -- you wanna go in with Momentum, Dawg. Oh, and thanks to your crap central division, the Yankees are going to have to play whichever team, Twins or Tigers, that Doesn't win the Division -- goddamnit. I wanna play the AL West winners, who will have the worst record.

Can't we make this happen?

i think thats WHY he's mad at the Red Sox, he doesn't want his Tigers to face the Yankees.

I don't. I would rather have the easier travel schedule. Besides, the Yankees match up well against all the Al post-season participants.

Everyone wants to face the A's on paper but they're heating up, and that god damned travel schedule for anyone is brutal. Can u imagine going to Oakland from Detroit or NY and playing games at 10:05 pm your time. Hell from just a fan's POV that blows.

Besides I want a DET - NY ALCS so I can watch Detroit's Pitching shut down the bats of the Yanks.

LOL GOB it is the playoffs so the networks rule. Meaning the Yankees will be playing at 8pm EST almost every night. If it was in Oakland they will have to leave work early to get there. But the networks pay so they have final say.

U're pretty smart for a queer. :p

Shows you what I know though. Last time the Tigers were in the playoffs, over the air antennas were still the main method of receiving a signal.

Hey!!! We allowed New York to back into a gift wrapped division title.

We can only do so much. Maybe the Tigres should have played the White Sox a little better earlier in the year and you could have taken the last few weeks off. ;-)

Do you think we should tell G.O.B that if the Tigers play Oakland in the first round the games in Oakland (at least one of them) will probably be an 11:00pm EST start ? :p

Should we tell GOB his team should beat the Orioles on a night when we owned Santana?

Good god man. The Sox beat the Twins (Birthday present for you) and then the Tigers lose to the O's? WTF is going on?

GOB...you are the one who made the mistake here. What are you doing counting on the Red Sox to do anything but not give a sh*t about winning a baseball game.

Ya know, I think that they sensed that somebody (you) actually wanted them to win at least one game against the Twinkies and defiantly lost all 3 just to stick it to you.

BTW, I thought the season ended over a month ago??? Are people still watching baseball?

I'm not watching baseball but the highlights have been on all night here in Mass.

Will you ever post on a football thread?

Not for choking teams that lose 5 games in a row during the critcal part of the season. I know the gay pride parades are ready on a year round schedule. I guess they do it for Red Sux fans since you only stay fully occupied in the playoffs every 86 years.
