Glendon Rusch was short of breath and when he hopped on the treadmill to do some running, he felt a sharp pain in his chest.

I take it your are not enamored with his pitching capabilities? ;)

BTW - do you guys really want Giradi next year, or would you rather a task-master vet. Manager like a Pinella? I heard this one debated back-and-forth a couple of days ago, and the arguments on both sides were pretty good.

I don't want anywhere near Pinella. Would he really be all that different than Dusty?

I want a manager that values OBP; one that doesn't run the pitchers into ground. One that will let the TEAM make the headlines and sit back and do his job.

No to Lou Pinella. Yes to Girardi, Larry Dierker, or Fredi Gonzalez.
