When you go to your user control panel..you can see the comments in latest reputation recieved..if somebody gave you rep..click on the little scale on the bottom in between the report post button and the online light..

No. The infractions don't feed the reputation system. If they did I wouldn't send them out. I sent Bren an infraction last week -- too much teeth. But her reputation actually improves as a result. You can see how these things are not related.

1. Last week you decided to go off on tx and other pats fans, yet when others complained about them last summer, all we got was a big F U, ignore them. Fine, so I have learned to ignore them (without actually putting them on ignore), but it is unfortunate that several very good JETS posters left this site b/c they were ridiculed for complaining about trolls. That still p1sses me off.

I started a thread months ago "Chicks" where we posted pics of hot chicks, but some of the (female) posters here didnt dig it, and out of respect for them (and i like all the women who post here) I stopped posting in that thread. So, I am just being consistent. Either soft porn is acceptable or its not- and since I respect the views of those who didnt like it, (and Jetmo and others who view their PC in their family room) I am being consistent, and respectful of people who complained (unlike the reaction to those who complained about thousands of juvenile posts by rival posters). And some of the girls posted lately do look a little skanky- that's just my opinion.

3. You can go right ahead and re-enable the photos option for me. Leave the rep sh1t disabled. thank you. I was on a board with the same rep points feature and I saw it created a lot of problems with some posters. it just isnt worth it based on what I saw there.

I started a thread months ago "Chicks" where we posted pics of hot chicks, but some of the (female) posters here didnt dig it, and out of respect for them (and i like all the women who post here) I stopped posting in that thread. So, I am just being consistent. Either soft porn is acceptable or its not- and since I respect the views of those who didnt like it, (and Jetmo and others who view their PC in their family room) I am being consistent, and respectful of people who complained (unlike the reaction to those who complained about thousands of juvenile posts by rival posters). And some of the girls posted lately do look a little skanky- that's just my opinion.

3. You can go right ahead and re-enable the photos option for me. Leave the rep sh1t disabled. thank you. I was on a board with the same rep points feature and I saw it created a lot of problems with some posters. it just isnt worth it based on what I saw there.

It is a good point. Each reported post was creating a thread in the mod forum. We have stopped that and removed the report this post button.

Not to sound like we don't care. But we will just scan the board and take care of things that way. Actually, that is how we used to do it. Report this post was installed by default with one of the vbulletin versions.

I never complained about the trolls before this summer, when I was putting up the tc reports and they were just throwing a wet blanket on things. That's when they really started to p1ss me off, and now that the Jets are having a good season, they are still acting like a bunch of wet blankets, trying to damper Jet fans' enthusiasm.

If you recall, I was very enthusiastic about the way camp was run, and extremely impressed with how hard the guys on the team were working, and the lap therapy to eliminate mistakes. I saw that Cotch and Rhodes camp into camp like beasts, and predicted breakout years for them. I was really high on Leon from the getgo, was the first to declare that CP would be the starter, and that the OL would surprise. I thought the D would come around sooner that it did, but it's starting to pick things up. Above all, I knew this team would compete in just about every game they played, because it was obvious to me that the culture of the team had changed. And I tried to share that.

I really come here to talk football, and to give and get as much info about the Jets as I can. I'm sorry you had to receive complaints about me, and thru our pms today, I made it clear to you that I was very willing to modify my board personna to accommodate the flow of the board. But you didnt want to tell me the nature of the complaints. Unlike the trolls, who persist in what they do, I am more than willing to make adjustments so as not to antagonize people. You met me, so you know that my screen posts are more animated and vociferous than I am in person. It's just a board personna and I really dont have a problem with toning it down if that needs to be done. Because this should be about having fun.

As I also told you earlier, I was just busting chops and stoking the coals on the photos. They really dont bother me. I just dont overuse the smilies, so I keep people guessing on whether I am being serious or not.
