A bargain in this market. Nice move by Detroit.

Really is a nice move and Bondo can still test FA at the age of 28.

While I don't understand the Bondo trade rumors, this contract makes him extremely attractive to teams looking for a young stud starter.

Good job by Detroit.

I also don't understand Toronto looking to move Alex Rios.

Another good move by Dombrowsi. Team will again be a handful for teams next year.

I don't think Bondo's going to get moved anymore. Tigers were looking for one big bat this offseason adn they got it with Sheff. They resigned Casey so they are good to go.

Bonderman gets less then Meche, Padilla, Lilly, to name 3 FA pitchers this off-season. I will bet that there are -0- General Managers who would take any of those 3 over Bonderman.

Smart move by the Tigers. Soon they will have to do this with the otehr kids, but this is a smart way to steal away some of those arbitration years, which will cost teams dearly this off-season, as well as next.
