was stone crab claws which were on sale at Publix I got 9 of them (good size about a pound and a quarter) for $10.99-they are usually $20.99 a Lb.My buddy at the seafood counter almost made me buy them "you can't turn this deal down" We had them cold with a Dijon-horseradish dipping sauce....so friggin good

i LOVEEEEEEE stone crabs!!! when i would go down to miami beach .. we always made a visit to joe's stone crabs...

now ...we usually get them fed ex'ed up north once a year....

so darn delicious!!!!

my mouth is now watering! thanks sofla! :lol:

I would eat them really but I am severly allergic to seafood, peanuts..etc etc..

I illustrated gg's avatar, as well as my own and StillerPaul's (He's a dude, right).

For the record, Jetophile is authentic. I am honored to be compared to her, though I don't think I've ever used the term "Heh" and I have no idea what all of the references to sock monkeys are.


BTW.. I hate to agree with Bob but I abhor seafood. No offense.
