Long shot. But we are so expecting them to lose, what happens if they win?
Does everyone become swaggerlicious again?

Rex Ryan will win the SB as H.C. of the NYJ.

What happens if they win?
-Most likely everyone will get their hopes up again for the division, considering we would be one game out. New England goes on the road next week for MNF @ New Orleans. First place would be looming in everyone's mind. But we would most likely lose to Carolina, that would be the way of the SOJ. Then finish between 7-9 8-8.
Or they could shock the world and be in first place in 9 days.
But we'll probably lose, so this is moot. lol

There will be talk of Superbowl dreams again.
Look at me
I'm a tangled puppet
I might be a mess
But I sure can survive

They wouldn't think twice. And you'll have like 20 people saying I told you so.
And a few *******s here and there talking about the Superbowl.

I already bet on them. I'm anticipating a big win tomorrow. We're not going anywhere this season but I don't see them just letting us be at peace with that. They'll string us along for a few more weeks.

I think I heard on ESPN that a 5-5 team has made the playoffs each year for the past few years, so playoffs would still be a possibility.

Yep. So you'd have to take Miami, NY Jets, Baltimore, Houston, Jacksonville, Philadelphia, NY Giants, Green Bay and Atlanta and loop them all in. I know all of those teams are either 4-5 or 5-4, but after Sunday a couple of them will be 5-5.
Who do you think is the best team on that list? I think it's Green Bay.
How have you been, man? I never see you at thephins any more.

Yeah in a weird way it would do that I guess. It would make some of the last second losses sting even more because of their impact.
Sometime I want to take these Jets and just throw them on the ground.

A sweep of the Pats will make me feel good. Since I was never swaggerlicious in the first place I will have to respond with a big **** No as an answer

I've been good, not posting a lot about football recently. The Jets take a lot out of me.
Of the 5-5 teams, I would probably say the Eagles will make it. They play like crap every year in the middle of the season, and then go on a late run to squeak into the playoffs and then wind up losing in the Divisionals/NFCC. Plus, I think they are the most talented team on that list, and they have a young group of RB's that can somewhat fill Westbrook's shoes. I think Green Bay sucks.

Yeah but every team has those games.
Every Jets fan thinks they should've beaten Miami and Jacksonville.
Every Dolphins fan thinks they should've beaten Indianapolis and New Orleans.
Every Pats fan thinks they should've beaten Indianapolis.
Every Bills fan thinks they should've beaten New England.

Not sure what your point is. I know those things happen and I didn't say the Jets should have won those games.
Just that if the Jets pull off an upset on Sunday (unlikely) some of those other late second losses sting more. The fact that they happen to everyone doesn't make it suck less.

I know what you mean. I haven't been genuinely happy about a Dolphins win except after the Carolina win and the two Jets wins.
Philly is a glamour pick, IMO. Any team with a sniff of a pass rush beats that team. I guess you could say the same thing about Green Bay but since I predicted them to represent the NFC in the SUper Bowl, I'll stick with them. :D

I'm just saying that at the end of the year there are 20 teams saying, if only we won those one or two games!
My point is that you are exactly what your record says you are.
