1972: The Jets set a club record of 333 yards rushing in a 41-13 defeat of the Patriots. John Riggins (168 yards) and Emerson Boozer (150) become first tandem in history to hit the 150 mark in a game.
1979: In the first Monday Night Football game to be broadcast from the New York area, the Jets beat the Vikings 14-7 at Shea Stadium.
1995: The expansion Carolina Panthers get their first ever win, helped by a dismal Jets performance. The Jets manage a total of 25 yards on the ground, but the defining moment is when a shovel pass from Bubby Brister to Adrian Murrell is intercepted and returned for a touchdown by Sam Mills.
