Dustin Keller
Dustin Kendall Keller is a rookie tight end for the New York Jets.

Background and college

Born September 25, 1984 in Lafayette, Indiana, Keller attended Jefferson High School. He was named one of top 50 receivers in the nation by Street & Smith's and made first team all-state as a senior after setting state records with 113 receptions and 1,804 yards (16.0 average) with 22 touchdowns and was runner-up for the state's top receiver award and finalist for Mr. Football. Apart from football, Keller also participated in basketball and track and field and won the state high jump championship as senior. In 2004, at Purdue, Keller was moved from wide receiver to tight end and appeared in nine games, including one start. In 2005 Keller appeared in 10 games as reserve and on special teams with 13 catches for 128 yards (9.8 average) and three touchdowns. In 2006, Keller received an All-Big Ten Honorable Mention while appearing in all 14 games, including 12 starts. He finished third on the team with 56 receptions for 771 receiving yards and was third on squad with four receiving touchdowns. In 2007, Keller was named to the Second-team All-Big Ten and was a John Mackey Award semifinalist.
