Jason Pociask
Jason Pociask is a tight end for the New York Jets.

Background and college

Born February 9, 1983 in Plainfield, Indiana, Pociask went to Plainfield High School where he led the Quakers to the 2000 4A Indiana State Finals. He then attended Wisconsin, where he played in 41 games for the Badgers and had 12 receptions for 144 yards for a 12.0 avg. Pociask earned honorable mention All-Big Ten, ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District 5 Selection and was an Academic All-Big Ten and UW’s Ivan Williamson Scholastic Award winner.

NFL Career

As a Jet

Pociask was taken by the Jets with the seventeenth pick of the fifth round (150th overall) in the 2006 NFL Draft. However, he spent the entire 2006 season on injured reserve.
