Jets Beat Patriots In OT, 30-27

The Jets snapped their five game losing streak against the Patriots today. It took overtime, but the Jets survived 30-27 to split the season series with New England 1-1 and improve their season record to 4-3. New York scored on their opening drive, taking the early 7-0 lead, but New England responded on the next [...]

Jets Fall To Steelers, 19-6

The Jets’ streak of being pathetic against the Pittsburgh Steelers continued today, as the Jets lost 19-6 and fell to 3-3 on the season. It’s hard to get on the defense for giving up 19 points against a competent Steelers’ offense and Ben Roethlisberger, but it’s becoming clearer that Antonio Cromartie is not playing up [...]

Jets Upset Falcons, 30-28

In another game where the experts expected them to get crushed, the Jets went into Atlanta and won a nail biter against the Falcons, 30-28, improving to 3-2 on the season. The first half was a pretty good half for the Jets, in spite of the fact that cornerback Darrin Walls dropped a sure interception [...]

Jets Routed by Titans 38-13

For the second time in a year, the Jets embarrassed themselves in Nashville. They were routed 38-13 by the Tennessee Titans today and fell to 2-2 on the season after being eliminated from playoff contention in an ugly game there last December. On the surface, a score like that looks like the Jets defense collapsed, [...]

Jeremy Kerley Cleared (NY Jets Injury Update)

Anyhow, Wednesday is an important [...]

The NY Jets announced some rosters move today, they have signed WR Ben Obomanu and released LB Scott Solomon. https://twitter.com/nyjets/status/377460037330800640 Bringing back Obomanu is a sure sign that Jeremy Kerley will not play against the Patriots on Thursday night.  Kerley did not practice today with the Jets.

Jeremy Kerley Has A Concussion

Jeremy Kerley was injured in the game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers but he returned to the game after being evaluated.  Today the Jets said that Kerley did not practice (see injury report below) and they have listed him as having a concussion.  Kimberley Martin from Newsday sheds some light on the situation. The Jets' [...]

Jets Win Opener Over Bucs, 18-17

The Geno Smith era as starting quarterback of the New York Jets has officially begun, as the Jets won their opener at home against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 18-17, on a wild finish. Smith completed his first pass, but after that the offense slowed down significantly. They ran a lot more wildcat than anyone really [...]
