Kris Jenkins Will Attempt A Comeback in 2011

Great news for Jets fans, Kris Jenkins is not ready to retire.  After consecutive season ending knee injuries Kris says he will give it a go in 2011.  He posted on his facebook account:

Yes it is true. I have decided to give it one more shot and a couple of things.
1) Yes I will wear knee braces.
2) I don’t care who disagrees.
3) I am crazy enough to pull it off!!!!!

Thank you for the support FB and keep rooting for those JETS!!!!

It will be a long road back but we do agree, he is crazy enough to pull it off.  We saw Kris at the Florham Park facility about a week before his most recent surgery and he looked good.  He said he couldn’t put any weight on his leg but he was walking around which was good to see.

We wish Kris Jenkins well in his rehab and look forward to seeing him on the field again in 2011.  Here is the discussion thread from the Jets Nation forum.

I started JetNation in 2005 and have been a New York Jets season ticket holder since graduating from high school. My dream is to see the New York Jets win the Super Bowl. Until then, I will be right here on JetNation writing, dreaming and talking NY Jets football.
