Maybin Expected To Sign Tender Offer

The Daily News is reporting that Aaron Maybin will be in attendance for the upcoming OTA’s (Organized Team Activities) in Florham Park.  He is expected to sign his tender offer soon.  He is a restricted free agent and he received a first round tender, so this move was expected.  Maybin had an excellent year for the Jets, a save your career kind of season, after being waived by the Buffalo Bills.

Maybin did slow down as the year progressed, so having him involved for a full offseason program should help him progress.  He finished the season with 6 sacks as a situational pass rusher, but had no sacks in the last 4 weeks of the season.

I started JetNation in 2005 and have been a New York Jets season ticket holder since graduating from high school. My dream is to see the New York Jets win the Super Bowl. Until then, I will be right here on JetNation writing, dreaming and talking NY Jets football.
