Dexter McDougle Tears ACL

The Jets received bad news today as Dexter McDougle tore his ACL during practice. Rex Ryan explained when the injury happened, “it was during one-on-one’s in the red zone and apparently he just came down and a cleat got caught. That is what I understood.”  The NY Jets confirmed the severity of the injury.

Cornerback remains a position of concern for the Jets. McDougle played well in the Jets first preseason game against the Colts. Now the 3rd round pick out of the University of Maryland will rehab and he is expected to miss the entire season.

I started JetNation in 2005 and have been a New York Jets season ticket holder since graduating from high school. My dream is to see the New York Jets win the Super Bowl. Until then, I will be right here on JetNation writing, dreaming and talking NY Jets football.
