Players to Watch: Buffalo Bills

Each week JetNation will key in on three players every Jets fan should know prior to the game. This week, the Bills…

1) Sammy Watkins, wide receiver: This is an obvious one. Watkins is already among the top receivers in the league and is the Bills best playmaker. Despite inconsistent (and generally bad) quarterback play, Watkins has 45 receptions for 649 yards and five touchdowns. In week eight, Watkins torched every Jets defensive back en route to a three catch, 157-yard game with a touchdown.

2) Mario Williams, defensive end: Williams is among the best pass rushers in the league and is having another monster year, already recording ten sacks. Last week, Williams dominated Miami with two sacks and four hurries. The Jets would be wise to disrupt Williams as much as possible. Tight ends should chip him and running backs should always know where he is in pass protection.

3) Preston Brown, OLB: Brown might not be a household name but the linebacker leads the team in tackles with 74. ProFootballFocus.com also regards Brown as one of the top run-stopping linebackers in football and is a large reason why the Bills limit to opponents to under 100 yards rushing per game.
