RB Jahad Thomas Joins Jets Practice Squad

The New York Jets have reportedly filled a vacancy on their practice squad by signing running back Jahad Thomas who was also in camp with the Jets for a short time this pre-season

.

A former Temple Owl, the 5′ 10” 188 pound Thomas has  yet to appear in an NFL game.  He rushed for 2,599 yards and 30 scores at Temple while piling up 998 yards and 8 touchdowns through the air.

Given their lack of production at the spot, it’s also worth noting that Thomas has experience as a kick returner, averaging 22.5 yards per return on 46 attempts in college.
