Jets to Pick Third in NFL Draft

The Jets didn’t get the help the needed in order to secure the top overall pick in the draft, but the team is set to pick third overall for the second year in a row after trading up to the third spot last season to snag quarterback Sam Darnold..

With the third pick, the Jets will likely look to move down to add picks while still staying in the top 10, but should they stay put, an edge rusher should be at the top of their shopping list.  Clemson’s Clelin Ferrell or Josh Allen of the University of Kentucky.  Offensive line is another possibility in round one with a player such as Jonah Williams, an offensive tackle out of Alabama.

It’s unlikely the team will have any shot at the draft’s top player in Ohio State’s Joey Bosa, but we’ve seen some wacky things on draft day over the past four seasons as Leonard Williams, Jamal Adams and Sam Darnold all fell past their projected first-round slot to land with Gang Green
