Rapoport: Jets Seeing Significant Interest From Teams Looking to Move up to 34

With the second round of the NFL draft just hours away and the New York Jets sitting pretty with the second pick in that round (34th overall), Gang Green is apparently taking some calls on the pick.

According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, there “could be some early action” as the Jets are receiving “significant interest” in pick 34 as the Jaguars appear to be set on holding on to pick 33.

GM Joe Douglas could look to recoup some of the draft capital he gave up to acquire offensive lineman Alijah Vera-Tucker yesterday or perhaps even get a team to part with their first-round pick next season for a chance to move up to 34.
