Jets Activate Becton, Lawson and Uzomah From PUP

Putting in to place what may be the largest collective meltdown over absolutely nothing that you’ll ever see, the Jets have activated tackle Mekhi Becton from the PUP list.

Along with Becton, the team activated edge rusher Carl Lawson and tight end CJ Uzomah, but it was Becton whose activation will surely make waves.

After months of a small number of very vocal fans ripping the tackle on social media, he showed up to camp looking as good as ever and apparently ready to go.

This means that three of the team’s most important players will be ready to go when practices start tomorrow.  It’s been a long road back for Becton who missed all of last season.  The big man had former guard Greg Van Roten roll up on the back of leg in a week 1 loss, leading to the injury.

Now it’s up to Becton to show he can avoid the injury bug that has plagued him as he looks to reach his full potential, which, in all honesty, has no limit.
