Jets Week 8 Inactive List vs Patriots; Davis out, Moore in for New York Offense

In what seems like the most highly anticipated game for New York this season, the 5-2 Jets play host to the 3-4 New England Patriots. After a week that saw many offensive stars exit the game with injuries, the Green & White had to pivot to stay competitive in the AFC.

Star offensive lineman Alijah Vera-Tucker (tricep) and running back Breece Hall (ACL) were both lost for the season during the win in Denver, so the Jets went out and traded for James Robinson from the Jacksonville Jaguars for a conditional 6th-round pick in 2023. While his workload is expected to be limited until he learns the offense fully, he will suit up and play today. UDFA Zonovan “Bam” Knight was signed to the 53-man roster earlier this week, but he will be inactive. OL Conor McDermott was elevated from the practice squad, as well as QB Chris Streveler. Veteran QB Joe Flacco is a healthy scratch, along with Streveler, leaving Mike White as the sole backup to Zach Wilson. Corey Davis is inactive this week after injuring his knee last week against the Broncos.

Defensively, CB Bryce Hall is a healthy scratch, as is S Tony Adams. Rookie Jermaine Johnson II will miss his third straight game with an ankle injury.

Here is the full inactive list for the Jets:

  • QB Joe Flacco
  • QB Chris Streveler
  • RB Zonovan Knight
  • WR Corey Davis
  • DL Jermaine Johnson
  • CB Bryce Hall
  • S Tony Adams

Here is the full inactive list for the Patriots:
