Good to go: Jermaine Johnson Cleared by Doctors

Jets defensive end Jermaine Johnson has taken to his account to let fans know that he has been cleared by his medical team.

The news couldn’t come at a better time as the Jets, seriously lacking in pass rushers, get training camp rolling.

Johnson missed all but two games last season after suffering a torn achilles early in the year.  Coming off of a sophomore campaign in which he logged an impressive 7.5 sacks, Johnson and Jets fans had hoped for more in 2024.  Those hopes were dashed in the middle of September when the injury occurred.

Head coach Aaron Glenn spoke about Johnson yesterday and stressed the fact that the organization will put a plan together for Johnson without trying to rush him back.
