Jets Announce Return of Kicker Nick Folk

The Jets have their Folk hero back…Nick Folk that is.

Gang Green announced via their official page that veteran kicker Nick Folk, who has been the NFL’s most accurate place kicker over the past two seasons, is back in Green and White.

The Jets parted ways with Caden Davis earlier in the day after working Folk out yesterday so the writing was on the wall.  Instead of having a pair of rookie kickers in camp, it’s the veteran Folk who will battle first-year kicker Harrison Mevis.

Over the past two seasons as a member of the Tennessee Titans, Folk has connected on 50 of 52 kicks, good for a 96.2% FG percentage.  Nobody in the NFL has been better.
