As quickly as it began, the New York Jets’ preseason will wrap up on Friday night. Although a lot of the starters won’t play on Friday, this is still a very important game. Coach Glenn will have his first opportunity to respond to a loss, and players fighting to make the 53-man roster will have a final opportunity to put on a show.
The stakes may be low, but this is the final tune-up before the real show gets started. Read on for the odds and stats for Friday’s Jets vs. Eagles preseason finale! All of the odds are sourced from New York sports betting apps

For the first time, the Jets are favored! It’s not by much, and mostly because they’re at home, but a first is a first.
Looking at New York’s opponent, it’s likely that the Eagles will also rest their starters. Nick Sirianni has never exposed starters in previous preseason finales, and it’s difficult to envision that changing after winning a title. Philadelphia also opens their season less than two weeks after this game, a shorter turnaround than every team in the league sans the Chargers.
What the Jets get on Friday is an opportunity to erase any memories of last Saturday, a chance to take it to the defending champs, and their first 60 minutes where MetLife is their home alone. The offense can put up 20+ points like every team has against the Eagles this preseason, and the defense should bounce back from last week’s rough performance.
With a spread this small, if you like the Jets to win, which is very reasonable in a preseason home game, it’s the smarter option than the moneyline.
The chances of the Jets winning this game by exactly one point are very slim. That scenario is the only reason to take the Jets’ moneyline over the Jets’ spread on Friday night, if you’re backing Gang Green. A tie would also refund your wager if you want that minuscule safety net.
In every other scenario favoring the Jets to win, the spread will net you more money. There’s not much more to say here that hasn’t already been said.

Well, the Jets have played two games, and each one went over the total. The first time, it was because New York finished with 30 points. Last weekend, the defense coughed up 31 for most of the damage.
Different paths have led to the same result. This game should mark three-for-three, especially with the way Brady Cook has performed under center. His drives, in particular, should lead to plenty of scoring. The Eagles allowed more than 20 points in their first pair of preseason games, and the Jets should also get over that hump.
Philadelphia’s offense is a bit more unpredictable, especially with QB Tanner McKee’s finger injury likely keeping him out of the game entirely. Kyle McCord and Dorian Thompson-Robinson have been rough this preseason, but one more shot at a roster spot could bring out their best.
Even if they stink, the Eagles should reach double-digits in this matchup. Combined with the Jets’ scoring, that’ll be enough to push this game over a low total.
