Rest in Peace: Jets Center Nick Mangold Loses Battle With Kidney Disease

The New York Jets have passed along the heartbreaking news that long-time Jets center Nick Mangold has passed away after a battle with kidney disease.

One of the greatest people and players to suit up for the Jets, Mangold was the anchor on an offensive line that gave Jets fans some of the greatest moments as a franchise.  He was manning the pivot when Gang Green went on the road to win playoff games against the Bengals, Colts, Chargers and Patriots.

Mangold was ducted into the team’s ring of honor in 2022.  He was 41-years-old and leaves behind a wife and four children.
