Jets Re-Sign Safety Andre Cisco to 1-Year Deal

You can add safety Andre Cisco to the growing list of Jets players being brought back into the fold by Gang Green after signing him to a 1-year deal worth up to $5.25 million according to NFL insider Ian Rapoport.

Cisco joins offensive linemen Max Mitchell, Xavier Newman and Chukwuma Okorafor along with fullback John Beck and linebacker Mykal Walker as returning Jets from the 2025 season.

Prior to coming to the Jets, Cisco raked up eight interceptions and 24 passes broken up with the Jacksonville Jaguars from 2021-2024.  He was largely invisible for the Jets in eight games last season, failing to register even a single interception and just one pass broken up.

Having already traded for Minkah Fitzpatrick and signing Dane Belton, Cisco and second-year safety Malachi Moore make up what is now a crowed safety room.  Should GM Darren Mougey opt to select a safety in April’s draft, somebody would have to go.
