Minkah Fitzpatrick was a full participant Thursday, giving the Jets some encouraging injury news ahead of Sunday’s road game against the Chicago Bears. The safety had been limited Wednesday with a groin injury, and his upgrade was the biggest positive change on the official Thursday injury report released by the Jets.
Kingsley Enagbare Misses Practice
The other change went in the opposite direction, as Kingsley Enagbare did not practice Thursday because of a knee injury. He had been limited Wednesday, bringing the number of Jets players who missed practice to six.
Breece Hall and Mason Taylor Remain Out of Practice
Breece Hall, Mason Taylor, Adonai Mitchell, Dylan Parham and Kiko Mauigoa all missed practice for the second straight day. As we covered in Wednesday’s Jets injury update, Aaron Glenn described those five players as week-to-week. Jeremy Ruckert remained limited with a knee injury, while Kenyon Sadiq was again limited with a back injury. Kene Nwangwu, who is also listed with a back injury, was a full participant for the second straight day.

DNP means the player did not participate in practice. Limited and Full refer to practice participation, and Thursday’s report did not include game-status designations.
Fitzpatrick taking a step forward is good news, but the Jets still have several injuries to watch before the trip to Chicago. Friday’s report should give a clearer picture of who will be available Sunday.
