Jets Claim Davis; Release Wilson

Here is a press release from the New York Jets announcing some roster moves.

The New York Jets have claimed free agent WR Marcus Davis off waivers from the New York Giants and released WR Antavious Wilson.

Davis (WR/6-4/232/Virginia Tech/Virginia Beach, VA) entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Giants (05/10/13), before he was released following rookie mini-camp (05/12/13). In four seasons at Virginia Tech, he played in 53 games and caught 105 passes for 1,827 yards and 13 touchdowns. In 2012, Davis led the Hokies with 51 catches for 953 yards and five touchdowns.

Wilson (WR/6-1/196/Marshall/Pahokee, FL) joined the Jets as an undrafted free agent (05/10/13) after finishing his collegiate career at Marshall. In 2012, he logged 69 receptions for 741 yards and nine touchdowns.
