Jamal Adams Headed to Pro Bowl for Second Straight Year

In an announcement that should come as a surprise to absolutely nobody, Jets safety Jamal Adams has been named to the pro bowl for a second straight season.

In just his third season in Green and White, Adams makes his second pro bowl after vowing to never miss another one when he failed to make the squad as a rookie.

Adams has been a force in 2019, leading all safeties  with 6.5 sacks and 19 quarterback pressures.  Adams also grades out well in coverage according to pro football focus where he is 12th out of 82 safeties in allowing just 55.6% of passes in his direction to be completed.  Overall, PFF has the LSU product currently ranked 3rd among all safeties in the NFL at 87.7.
