The New York Jets used their second first-round selection in the 2026 NFL Draft to select Kenyon Sadiq with the No. 16 overall pick, adding another offensive weapon to the roster.
Kenyon Sadiq arrives from the Oregon Ducks, where he developed into one of the more dynamic tight end prospects in this draft class. Known for his athleticism, movement skills, and ability to create mismatches, Sadiq gives the Jets another option in both the passing game and run game.
At tight end, the Jets currently have Jeremy Ruckert, Mason Taylor, and Jelani Woods on the roster. With first-round draft status, Sadiq is expected to enter the competition at the top of that depth chart as the team begins offseason work and rookie minicamp.
The addition gives the Jets another young piece on offense as they continue to try to add skill position talent.
