The New York Jets stayed active during the 2026 NFL Draft, executing their second trade of the weekend by moving down in Round 2 while adding another valuable pick.
Holding the 44th overall selection, the Jets dealt the pick to the Detroit Lions in exchange for pick No. 50 overall and the Lions’ fourth-round selection at No. 128 overall. The move gives general manager Darren Mougey more flexibility as Day 2 continues and adds another top-130 selection.
