Jets Make Practice Squad Move

JETS SIGN S JEREMY LESEUER

New York City- The New York Jets announced today the signing of free agent S Jeremy LeSeuer to the practice squad. The announcement was made by Jets Executive Vice President/General Manager Terry Bradway.

LeSeuer, 24, was signed by Denver as a draft pick on July 27, 2004 after he was selected by the Broncos in the third round (85th overall) of the 2004 Draft. He spent his rookie season on injured reserve rehabbing a hernia injury and was released on September 3, 2005. The 6-foot, 204-pound safety attended the University of Michigan, where he recorded 170 tackles, two sacks, 27 pass deflections and three forced fumbles while playing in 50 career games from 1999-03. As a former cornerback at Michigan, he earned second-team All-Big Ten Conference honors his senior year. He also set a single-season record in kick-return yards (583) as a junior, while tying a school record with 26 returns that year.

LeSeuer will wear number 31 with the Jets.

I started JetNation in 2005 and have been a New York Jets season ticket holder since graduating from high school. My dream is to see the New York Jets win the Super Bowl. Until then, I will be right here on JetNation writing, dreaming and talking NY Jets football.
