Mehta: Enunwa has High Ankle Sprain, Will “Miss Some Time”

Not a great day for the Jets as it looks as if they’ve lost another key starter due to injury.

Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News is reporting that wide receiver Quincy Enunwa has a high ankle sprain but did not specify how much time the receiver is expected to miss.  Enunwa left yesterday’s game following his lone catch that resulted in a lost fumble.

In addition to Enunwa, the Jets also lost starting safety Marcus Maye for 3-4 weeks with a broken thumb.
